Woodlawn High School Academic Awards Criteria
Woodlawn High School Awards Criteria
At Woodlawn High we know how important it is to value and celebrate our student success.
We use the following criteria when calculating averages for student recognition:
- Averages will be calculated using all courses the student was enrolled in for the current year using a straight average
- There is no minimum number of courses to be enrolled in to qualify for the mark distinctions
There are three categories of recognition (Honours, High Honours, and Principal’s List)
Honors | High Honors | Principal’s List |
80% - 84.9% | 85%- 89.9% | 90% or above |
Celebrations for success for students on the Honors, High Honors, and Principal’s List in Semester One occur in the spring. Those on the list for Semester Two receive their certificates with their report cards or with their diplomas at graduation.
